Netflix has announced on Tuesday that it's partnering with six Japanese creators to expand its anime catalog, Anime News Network reports. The streaming giant is partnering with the manga creator group CLAMP (Cardcaptor Sakura, X), manga creator (, ),manga creator (, ), novelist and film director (Stare film, , , Zoo), novelist (, , , ), and manga creator (, ).
The Japanese creators will develop and produce original Japanese anime for Netflix which the streaming service can share in 190 countries and territories worldwide.
One of the biggest partnerships comes with CLAMP as the studio has overseen the publication of popular shojo titles. CLAMP released X and Cardcaptor Sakura years ago, and I thought X was pretty epic.
It looks like Netflix is planning to bring more awesome anime titles to its streaming service. If you're looking for anime titles to watch on Netflix now, there's Aggretsuko, Devilman Crybaby, and the upcoming Castlevania Season 3 and Altered Carbon: Resleeved.
