Daredevil: Born Again has been active in development, featuring the return of arch-rivals Charlie Coxās Matt Murdock and Vincent DāOnofrioās Wilson Fisk in the Disney+ reboot. However, while fans are celebrating one of the most highly anticipated comebacks of the Man Without Fear, the casting roll call has seemingly left out two names from the original Netflix show cast.
The Hollywood Reporter said that Netflix Daredevil stars Deborah Ann Woll (who plays Karen Page) and Elden Henson (who plays Foggy Nelson) will not be returning in the upcoming Disney+ reboot, Daredevil: Born Again, despite starring in the original Netflix series.
It is unclear as to whether or not Marvel Studios plans on recasting the two roles or scrapping their characters all together, especially seeing as Daredevil: Born Again is a reboot from the initial series.
It is worth noting that Henson and Woll played pivotal roles in the series, with Foggy Nelson as the best friend and co-founder of Nelson and Murdock, with Karen Page as the potential love interest and co-legal partner at Nelson, Murdock, and Page law firm. So, to lose them means losing the interest and support from MCU fans, as well.

Previously, Woll has been quite vocal when being asked if Marvel Studios has already contacted her for a reprisal in her role, stating that while she has yet to be called to set, she would be down in returning to play Karen Page as things have been left unfinished for her character.
It is important to take this news with a grain of salt as nothing has been set to stone yet. Disney and Marvel Studios have yet to address the absent names on the roll call as of writing. However, MCU fans are already distraught at the thought of not getting to see these two original actors back together as part of the trio with Matt Murdock.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to hit Disney+ in early 2024. Stay tuned for more updates here on EpicStream!
