Ned Hugs Peter in New Photo from Spider-Man: Far from Home

The fun thing about the MCU's Spider-Man is that they actually have Peter Parker a best friend that could help him with his superheroing a.k.a. the guy in the chair. With promos for Far from Home frequently coming out, we have a new image of what looks to be a reunion between Peter Parker and Ned Leeds.

Check it out:

We don't really know what the scene entails, but I'm guessing Peter comes back after Ned supposedly thinks that he was a goner. Maybe he saw Spider-Man get into a tiff with the Elementals and is just happy to see Peter come back alive.

I have to hand it to the MCU, they're really doing a lot of great things when it comes to the Spider-Man formula, at the same time keeping true to the character. Homecoming gave Peter friends, didn't kill off the villain, and actually showed us more of Spider-Man being part of the neighborhood. I guess we have to thank the Amazing Spider-Man movies for being terrible that they had to give us this new version.

Peter Parker and his friends go on summer holidays to Europe. However, the friends will hardly be able to rest - Peter will have to agree to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of creatures that cause natural disasters and destruction throughout the continent.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home when it hits theaters July 2.
