Naomi Campbell is a proud BLINK member and shows the world her support for BLACKPINK.

The fashion icon shared a photo of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rose as they made history by gracing the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. BLACKPINK becomes the first K-pop girl group to do so, and Naomi Campbell is evidently proud of this achievement.

Naomi Campbell Went Fangirling BLACKPINK

The 52-year-old model's Instagram story on Saturday, June 4, featured the YG Entertainment-formed group.

She accompanied her post with their hit song "How You Like That" and added some black and pink heart emojis and three fire signs to express that she was proud of the four-piece band's success.

Aside from being the first K-pop girl group to grace the said magazine's cover, they were also only the third all-female group from any country to do so, per Soompi.

The last time an all-girl band made it to Rolling Stone cover was 20 years ago, with Destiny's Child in 2001. The first one to do the honor was the Spice Girls back in 1997.

However, this is not the first time Naomi Campbell showed her fondness for the group. In fact, she has liked their social media posts for years, Koreaboo cited.

She's surely proud of what they have become, joining her fellow BLINKs in showing their support for them.

Though the supermodel has been setting boundaries about her personal life, she lets everyone know that she's a BLACKPINK fan.

BLACKPINK as Brand Ambassadors

As expected, many were surprised to see Naomi Campbell's move. As a group that's making a name in the fashion world, being recognized by an icon from the field is a big thing.

They each have endorsements and are all ambassadors of different luxury brands, SportsKeeda noted.

BLACKPINK Return

Meanwhile, fans have been waiting for BLACKPINK's official return to the music scene two years after releasing "How You Like That" from their 2020 album, The Album.

Rumors about the girls' return have been rampant as of late. The claims even got stronger when local brokerage firms predicted YG would see a rebound in performance in the second half of the year after a low performance in the first quarter.

"YG’s performance is expected to show a steep upturn between end of June and early July when Blackpink makes a return,” an NH Investment & Securities analyst said, as quoted by several publications.
