My Hero Academia is officially coming back for a fourth season.
The beloved anime series has been confirmed for yet another season just after the finale of My Hero Academia Season 3. The announcement was made through an awesome teaser for My Hero Academia Season 4.
The video opens with Izuku Midoriya staring up at the sky along with a montage of key scenes in the third season. The teaser then focuses on the Big Three, who was teased in the My Hero Academia Season 3 finale. It's certainly a huge tease at Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki playing major roles in the upcoming season. In addition to that, we get a glimpse at the new villain Overhaul.
The My Hero Academia Season 4 air date has not yet been confirmed. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that the series will return before the end of the year.
The My Hero Academia Season 3 finale certainly teased on the Big Three and Overhaul being major players in the future. The synopsis for the episode Unrivaled reads as follows:
We're still waiting for more updates on My Hero Academia Season 4. In the meantime, the full-length film My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is enjoying a successful run at the domestic box office. The movie reportedly performed better at the box office compared to The Predator and The Nun.
