Here’s the Recap of My Hero Academia Chapter 412
The title of My Hero Academia Chapter 412 is History’s Maddest Hero, and it begins with Deku attacking Tomura with Delaware Smash.
Tomura realized that Deku predicted the path and range of his decay and used the wind blast to gouge out the land and blow it away, ultimately delaying the advance of his destruction.
It was a peak performance, but Tomura said it was only a stopgap measure.
The dust cloud hadn’t dispersed yet, and several Blackchains suddenly surrounded Tomura. Deku emerges and punches Tomura’s right arm off.
En warns Deku that Tomura can still use Search to spot his location and hit him with deadly lightning blasts.
Then, Tomura regenerates his arm, while Deku can’t catch his breath due to the recoil of Gear Shift. Tomura can tell that Deku has been reinforcing his tendons and muscles from the inside based on the black coils in his skin.
Tomura mocks Deku, but the latter insists on not giving up on that crying boy. Tomura answers that he overcame and buried that crying little boy a while back, and he’s the only one left.
Nana asked Deku to give up saving Tomura since some people out there can’t be saved. In addition, Nana told Deku that Tomura represents an insurmountable challenge, an impenetrable wall he doesn’t need to overcome.
A, Nana insists that Deku’s only option is to kill Tomura with a single blow and leave nothing behind. Deku rejects Nana’s ideas, saying that he will continue to shatter the lid Tomura placed on his heart in bits and pieces.
Deku’s perspective and beliefs explain why Kudo was opposed to him. Kudo thinks Deku’s desire to save Tomura is just delusional madness, but having observed Deku all this time makes him want to believe in the boy.
That’s when Cathleen Bate’s hand appears and points through the vestige realm, much to Kudo and All Might’s surprise.
Before the chapter ends, Kudo tells Deku to do exactly as he says, for he’s betting everything on him and that the time has come to part ways with One For All.
