Magic: The Gathering Arena grinder and winner of last weekend's Dreamhack Anaheim Arena Open Aaron "Littlebeep" Gertler has taken back the #1 Mythic rank spot after Logan "Jaberwocki" Nettles took the highest spot on Wednesday.
Last night, Jaberwocki said that he had to win 10+ games in a row after taking the #2 spot to earn the #1 spot:
But just a few hours after that, Gertler managed to take back the #1 spot after winning six more matches.
The season is ending in a couple of days, and it's amusing to see two of the top MTG Arena players compete for the game's highest rank.
Last week, Gertler won the first ever Dreamhack Arena Open at Anaheim with his value-generating Temur Adventure (Standard) deck, taking home $30,000 (half of which he donated in charity) and a spot to the Ikoria Mythic Invitational this May.
I featured Gertler's Temur Adventure deck in this MTG Arena video:
The Mythic Invitational Ikoria is happening in May 14-17, and the prize pool will be $750,000.
