Principal photography for Morbius The Living Vampire, Sony's newest entry in SUMC (Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters) and it looks like Morbius himself, Jared Leto, has decided to share the first official look at his vampiric antihero.
Taking to Instagram, the Academy Award-winning actor shared a short looped clip showing a haunted Michael Morbius standing alone in the middle of a busy street as pedestrians pass by without even knowing that they're walking by a vampire.

This is our first full look at Morbius. Sure, Leto had previously shared a photo of himself as the vampire taken from the production's set during Morbius' start of principal photography, however the actor's face was obscured by the production slate.
There hasn't been that much word about the plot details of the film, however, production for Morbius, The Living Vampire began in March and is expected to continue until May so that the film can release during its July 2020 release date.
For those who aren't familiar with the character Morbius initially started as Spider-Man's horror based rogue villains, however the character went on to become a brooding, gritty, and somewhat heroic antihero in his own Marvel comic series.
Before becoming a vampire, Michael Morbius was an award-winning biochemist with a rare blood disorder. Morbius soon gained pseudo-vampiric superhuman qualities after a biochemical experiment intended to cure his disease failed.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius The Living Vampire stars Jared Leto as the titular character with Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, and Jared Harris as part of the cast.
Morbius is set for release on July 31, 2020.
