Monica Barbaro has expressed her excitement about working with boyfriend Andrew Garfield in an upcoming movie.

The couple has been dating for the last few months. Reports of their alleged romance came to the surface earlier this year after they were spotted together publicly and attending events as a pair.

What Does Monica Barbaro Think of Working with Andrew Garfield in Upcoming Movie?

During a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, Barbaro was asked about her thoughts on working with Garfield in the Luca Guadagnino film Artificial.

She said that "can't really say anything yet" about the project, but she is excited to work on it soon.

"I'm so excited to work with Luca, he's just one of my favorite directors, and I think everyone aspires to work with him, so I'm excited about that," the Oscar-nominated actress.

When asked about working with Garfield in the project, Barbaro responded with a laugh, "I'm excited to work with the whole cast, it's gonna be a great time."

So far, Garfield and Barbaro have not publicly commented about their relationship since reports came online that they are dating.

What is Luca Guadagnino's Artificial About?

According to Deadline, Guadagnino is planning to work on Artificial as the next film he is directing after Sgt. Rock was abruptly put on hold recently.

The film "revolves around the period at the artificial intelligence company OpenAI in 2023 that saw CEO Sam Altman fired and rehired in a matter of days."

Garfield, Barbaro, and Yura Borisov are currently in talks to star in the project. Garfield will likely play Sam Altman, while Barbaro will play Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati.

This would mark the first time that Barbaro would be working with Guadagnino, while Garfield has worked with him in After the Hunt, which will release in theaters later this year.

Amazon MGM Studios is fast-tracking the project as they are eyeing to begin filming later this year.
