People certainly have high hopes for Black Panther after Disney decided to give the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick a major push for several Academy Awards. However, actor Michael B. Jordan says that the film's biggest achievement isn't an Oscar nomination.
Jordan recently spoke to Essence about the possibility that the movie would be getting some award nods. The Fruitvale Station star admitted that it would be a wonderful thing if Black Panther gets an Oscar or two. However, Jordan truly believes that there's another reason why the Ryan Coogler flick has changed Hollywood.
Jordan's performance in Black Panther was certainly riveting to the point that viewers found themselves somehow rooting for his character although he was supposed to be the villain. Needless to say, we wouldn't be surprised if the Fruitvale Station star gets an Oscar for his portrayal of Erik Killmonger.
Jordan's latest project Creed 2 is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
