Though McCarthy started to be known for her role in Gilmore Girls, she revealed she couldn’t watch the show at home this time anymore.

In the sneak preview of her interview on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, she confessed she was afraid to get caught watching the series.

“I watched it with Vivian once, my oldest, and we watched the pilot…and I was watching her watch it,” she said via Just Jared.

She somehow feared that “something’s going to happen, and I’m going to be found in a room watching my own thing.”

“So, I have a super paranoia about ‘I can’t watch my own stuff in the house,’” she continued.

McCarthy reasoned that she didn’t want paramedics to come in and see her watching her own stuff when something bad occurred, adding it would be a weird scenario.

“Every time I turn on a TV, and it’s me I’m like, ‘Oh god, do I feel lightheaded. I don’t want to pass out in a room where my stuff’s playing,’” she explained.
