Meghan Markle and her half-sister Samantha Markle have reportedly been estranged for years. According to the Duchess of Sussex, she barely got to know Samantha because she grew up as an only child. Samantha Markle Fighting To Have Meghan Markle Deposed?
Samantha Markle has been fighting to have Meghan Markle deposed. She said through her lawyer Peter Ticktin that the Duchess of Sussex subjected her to humiliation, shame, and hatred after she tried to affirm her false narrative about her childhood.
According to Samantha, Markle was also right in saying that she got scholarships while studying. After all, it was their dad Thomas Markle Sr. who sent her to school.
"She got caught. She was lying about her education, that she was getting all these scholarships. Her father paid for her education for goodness sake, and she got caught in this lie. Why else is she putting her sister down? Why else is she putting her father down? Probably never realizing this would put an innocent person into the fray where all of a sudden she has hundreds of threats on her life coming at her, a stalker she had to deal with," Ticktin told Daily Mail.

Meghan Markle's Lawyer Stresses That Samantha Markle Is Questioning His Client's Recollection Of Her Childhood?
But the Duchess of Sussex's lawyer Michael Kump fired back by saying that his client's accounts from her childhood are being questioned by her own sister.

Samantha Markle's Filing Includes Questions About Meghan Markle's First Wedding, Her Relationship With Ashleigh?
Additionally, Samantha's camp wants Markle to turn over information regarding her first wedding to her ex-husband Trevor Engelson after she said that her half-sister wasn't invited. Samantha insists that this wasn't the case.
"On Page 317, the book falsely states that Mrs. Markle was not invited to the Duchess' first wedding. This was another false statement designed to bolster the false position that the two sisters had no real relationship," Samantha's court filing reads.
Samantha also wants Markle to answer some questions regarding her relationship with the former's daughter Ashleigh, who was featured in the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan.
But Kump is standing firm by their decision not to focus too much on Samantha's lawsuit.
"This baseless and absurd lawsuit is just a continuation of a pattern of disturbing behavior. We will give it the minimum attention necessary, which is all it deserves," he said.
