Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have decided on their attendance at King Charles' coronation. One of them is going, and the other is staying with their kids in California.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Coronation Could Affect Their Marriage?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always put up a united front in public. Last week, Buckingham Palace was pleased to announce that Prince Harry would join his father's coronation, but his wife and kids would remain in California.

Initially, fans thought either both were going or skipping the event altogether. However, they made a compromise.

According to royal commentator Christopher Andersen, the coronation will be "a very uncomfortable, highly awkward situation for Harry" after all the things he said and wrote about his family. Thus, it was understandable that he left Markle and their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, at home.

He also said this about Markle via Fox News Digital:

The expert added that the royal couple should have decided together because it would affect their marriage. Their decision "shows a level of maturity and unity in the marriage that is to be admired" or causes friction among them.

He continued:

Why Meghan Markle Snubbed King Charles' Coronation?

Finding Freedom co-author, Omid Scobie claimed that among the factor that Markle weighed in on for her decision is their son Archie's 4th birthday, which falls on the same day as the King's coronation.

However, Daily Mail Diary editor and broadcaster Richard Eden had another thing in mind why Markle skipped the historical event. When he appeared on Daily Mail Royals' Palace Confidential, he told host Jo Elvin that the Sussexes didn't get their demands and it was probably the reason Markle stayed behind.

Meanwhile, New Zealand-born British journalist Dan Wootton claimed on GB News that Markle was avoiding public humiliation. She reportedly didn't want to be booed.
