Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Netflix docuseries will drop next month. However, many believed it would only subject them to a massive backlash.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Will Be 'Absolutely Slaughtered' Over Netflix Docuseries?
Royal commentator Calvin Robinson weighed in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's anticipated docuseries on Netflix. There were claims that Prince Harry and Markle wanted to push it back. However, the streaming giant is adamant about releasing it before the year ends.
According to Robinson, the project could likely subject the royal couple to intense scrutiny.
"Also, I find it interesting that they're trying to keep pushing back that Netflix stuff because they know they're going to get slated for it," he said, Express reported. "Absolutely slaughtered."
He added, "It's going to bring the Queen into disrepute, the Royal Family into disrepute. They're not going to be liked very well."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Want Money But Don't Want To Work?
Lizzie Cundy echoed Robinson's sentiment. She also believed that the royal couple would receive "massive backlash" for their docuseries.
According to her, the Sussexes "want the money" but "don't want to do the work."
Meanwhile, host Nana Akua gave the royal couple the benefit of the doubt.
"To be fair, we haven't seen this thing yet," she said, adding that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could also "say some positive things."
However, she also added that this would be "changing the habit of a lifetime."
