Meghan Markle indirectly confirmed that she and Prince Harry's docuseries for Netflix is still a go. Even though the official release date hasn't been announced, the Duchess of Sussex suggested that the docuseries has been progressing under the hands of director Liz Garbus.
Meghan Markle Says She Would've Told Her, Prince Harry's Story Differently On Netflix Docuseries
However, Meghan Markle also told Variety that while she trusts and respects Garbus' take on the docuseries, she wouldn't have told her and Prince Harry's story the way that the director is doing it.
According to Page Six, the Duchess of Sussex's recent statement suggests that she may not be pleased with the direction of her and Prince Harry's project for the streaming platform.
"It's nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I've long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. But that's not why we're telling it. We're trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens," she said.

Meghan Markle Says It Was So Amazing To Work With People With The Same Creative Energy
During the interview, Markle called the experience interesting, especially for Prince Harry, because he has never been part of the entertainment industry. Markle, on the other hand, appeared in some TV shows and movies, but she was best known for her role in Suits.
"It's interesting. My husband has never worked in this industry before. For me, having worked on 'Suits,' it's so amazing to be around so much creative energy and to see how people work together and share their own points of view. That's been really fun," she said.
Meghan Markle Says Actors Who Will Portray Her In Shows Can Give Her A Call
Markle also shared her thoughts about other actors portraying her. She said that whoever would be cast as her could give her a call, and she would gladly help them out.
"I hope that in preparing for that role, she finds the softness and the playfulness and the laughter. The silliness. I just hope she finds the dimensions. Also, she can call me!" she said.
And when it comes to future plans to return to acting, Markle said that she has no plans to return to the craft that she used to love so much.
"No. I'm done. I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not," she said.
The official release date of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's docuseries for Netflix has yet to be announced.
