Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally come to their decision about the coronation of King Charles III after months of will-they-won’t-they, a new report claimed.
Sources have it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have finally R.S.V.’d to King Charles III’s coronation, and they are having it both ways. An unnamed insider stated:
“Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on the 6th [of] May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

Prince Harry and Meghan, who have publicly lashed out at the British royal family in multiple interviews and the duke’s memoir called Spare, decided to make the best of a bad situation. An identified tipster shared with Star:
“As much as Harry wants to avoid possible boos from the crowds and a chilly reception from his family, he decides to go. It’s a historic moment and the most important day of his father’s life.”
The fact that the coronation falls on the fourth birthday of Prince Harry and Meghan’s first kid, Prince Archie, allegedly gave the former Suits star an easy out.
The informant said:
“She doesn’t want to be scrutinized. Now she can conveniently avoid awkward run-ins with the family.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly share the same relief. It furthered:
“They’re glad Harry decided to attend and that they won’t have to face Meghan and what they see as her disapproval.”

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has denied reports saying that her decision not to attend King Charles III’s coronation was influenced by correspondence between herself and the father of Prince Harry. It was reported on Friday, April 21, that the duchess had written the monarch about unconscious bias within the royal family.
The letter was allegedly sent in the aftermath of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’ appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in March 2021. A statement from the Sussex pair read:
“The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago. Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous.”
It was also reported that the former husband of Camilla Parker-Bowles, Andrew Parker-Bowles, will attend the swearing-in ceremony as the ex-lovers remain “joined at the hip.” They were married for 22 years before finally getting divorced in 1995. Camilla then tied the knot with King Charles III in 2005.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on the claims that they had split decision about attending the coronation of King Charles III. So, avid followers of the royal family should take all these unverified reports with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
