There are rumors that Meghan Markle has plans to join the political race. Prince Harry's wife hasn't addressed the speculations, but an expert claims that his memoir wouldn't help her political ambitions.
Prince Harry Reportedly 'Destroyed' Wife Meghan Markle's Political Ambitions
The Duke of Sussex shared his personal accounts of things reported about him and various happenings behind closed doors in the palace in his memoir Spare. However, Prince Harry's move was something that would not only help his wife's alleged political ambitions, but it could also end them.
Royal expert and commentator Kinsey Schofield was asked about the Duchess of Sussex's political ambitions, and she wasn't very positive about it following the release of Prince Harry's book.
The To Di For Daily podcast host said on Sky News Australia:
"I think it's completely destroyed, do the American public want somebody's husband in the White House who openly admits to drug use? Who openly wore a Nazi costume?"
She continued:
"Not only did he wear a Nazi costume but he blames his brother and his [brother's] wife for wearing the Nazi costume. Do they want somebody in the White House who can't keep a secret? Who has been so utterly disloyal?"
The author of R is for Revenge Dress also felt that Prince William's brother had overshared a lot of things in his memoir. Among the things she disapproved of was Prince Harry talking about his private parts.
She also called them an "immature couple."
"It just shows you that this is a really immature couple and I don't think in any way, shape or form that the American public would allow her the opportunity to move into the White House."
Meghan Markle Rumored To Have A Political Agenda
Meghan Markle delivered the keynote speech at the One Young World Summit in Manchester in September 2022. However, according to Mail Online, Markle referenced herself 54 times during her speech.
Royal author Phil Dampier said the former actress made the speech all about her.
"The speech was really about her. She was using it as a platform to talk about herself and her past involvement with the organisation but it didn't tell the audience anything practical in terms of advice to fulfill their potential."
Robert Jobson, author of William at 40: The Making of a Modern Monarch, added that Markle seemed to have a "political agenda long term." He speculated that she was trying to prepare for a political career, probably in Congress or the Senate.
Meanwhile, another source told Closer that Prince Harry was supportive of his wife's plans to run for US president.
