Meghan Markle has become an easy target for malicious rumors and controversial issues since she was seen publicly with Prince Harry in 2016 through a blind date. Things exacerbated when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex finally tied the knot in front of 600 guests at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018.
There were even claims saying that Meghan Markle is among the primary reasons why Prince Harry decided to quit his senior royal role and transfer to the United States of America to live a more private life away from the scrutinizing public eye. Some are even blaming the former Suits actress for causing troubles in the palace.
Now, new reports say that Meghan Markle made a cutting remark against the royal family during her a recent appearance. Keep on reading to know more details.
Did Meghan Markle Made A Snide Remark Against The Royal Family?
Daniela Elser lambasted Meghan Markle for bringing up the monarchy as she and husband Prince Harry pursue new lives in America. Theroyal commentator, as per Express UK, claimed that the Sussex couple seem to feel that they need to drag the palace and the royal family into things to drive out their points.

According to Daniela, Meghan Markle made a “dig” at the royal family with “three words” during a guesting recently. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly referred to “my husband’s family” at an event Tuesday, November 9.
The British outlet reported Meghan Markle insisted, during the New York Times DealBook online summit, that her calls for paid family leave in the U.S. do not have conflict with the tradition that members of Royal Family do not get involved in politics. The wife of Prince Harry stated:
"I don't see this as a political issue frankly. Look, there is certainly a precedent amongst my husband's family and the Royal Family of not having any involvement in politics, but I think this is... I mean, paid leave, from my standpoint, is just a humanitarian issue."
Daniela questioned why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “never seemingly miss an opportunity” to attack the palace and the royal family. In a writing for News.com.au (via NZ Herald), the royal commentator stated:
"The sticking point here is not her views on supporting new mums and dads, because on that she’s spot on. Insert all the applause she very rightly deserves here. Oh no. The issue is the use of those three small words: 'my husband’s family'. Why for the love of all of Meghan’s Lorraine Schwartz diamonds did she go there? Meghan is a highly intelligent woman with a degree from one of the US’ top ten universities and an entire army of aides to prepare her for any sort of oratorical combat. So why go the easy, cheap route here and use this opportunity to drag her 'husband’s family' into the mix? Likewise, the strength of her case is more than sound – so why did she feel the need to make a comment that had a suspicious whiff of a dig about it?"
It did not stop there because Daniela also compared Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to people who are having a hard time getting over an ex and manages to mention his name into conversations many times over. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to comment on the royal commentator’s recent statements.
Did Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Upstage Queen Elizabeth?
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince harry got called out recently for allegedly trying to “upstage” Queen Elizabeth with their Remembrance Day entrance. Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers criticized the Sussex couple for reportedly making the occasion “about themselves.”
As per Geo TV, Russell said:
“Perhaps they shouldn’t have been in the photos. If you’d just had their backs and another picture of the wreath they’d laid, I think that would have been appropriate. It’s just, I think, the criticism labelled at them, saying that once again had been made about themselves is a case to answer, unfortunately. Because I was just shocked at the number of photographs that were then put out to the world’s media.”
Broadcaster Piers Morgan also called the said photos of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry a “distasteful PR stunt.” The couple have yet to release a statement about these “upstaging” allegations.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry graced the 2021 Salute to Freedom gala on Wednesday, November 10. The parents of Archie and Lilibet joined the members of Armed Forces in New Jersey to make Remembrance Day on Thursday, November 11.
