Song Hye Kyo and writer Kim Eun Sook reunite in the new drama The Glory after working together in Descendants of the Sun. Aside from Song Joong Ki’s ex-wife, the stellar cast of the upcoming Netflix series has been revealed.
Song Hye Kyo will be again seen on the small screen after working with Jang Ki Yong in Now, We Are Breaking Up. So, who will be with her this time?
Song Hye Kyo’s Co-Stars in The Glory
Song Hye Kyo will be playing the role of Moon Dong Eun, a woman who’s keen to take her revenge against her bullies and bystanders who just watched her suffer during her childhood.
She will be joined by Lee Do Hyun as the male lead Joo Yeo Yung, a happy and optimistic man on the outside but is hiding a dark secret on the inside.
Next is Lim Ji Yeon as Park Yeon Jin. She’s the one who led the bullying of Moon Dong Eun when they were still studying. Despite her dark past, she seems to be enjoying her life today, not knowing that it’s going to haunt her. Now, she will end up protecting everything she loves.
Viewers will also see Yeon Hye Ran in The Glory as Kang Hyun Nam, another domestic violence victim and a protective mother with a mysterious proposal for Moon Dong Eun.
In addition, Park Sung Hoon will join the show as Jeon Jae Joon, the self-absorbed man who joined Park Yeon Jin in tormenting Moon Dong Eun in the past. Confident that his family’s wealth can protect him, he lives his life the way he wants without consideration for others.
Lastly, Jung Sung II will be seen as Ha Do Young, Park Yeon Jin’s husband and the CEO of a big construction company. He will be part of Moon Dong Eun’s revenge, making him fall into a trap that will jeopardize his family.
The Glory’s Plot
The Glory will tell the story of Song Hye Kyo’s Moon Dong Eun. She’s a woman whose life has been destroyed by school violence she experienced during her childhood.

This makes her desperate to take the revenge she has been plotting to do her whole life. From there, fans are about to see a different Song Hye Kyo, as she watches her bullies fall for her trap.
The Glory’s Staff and Crew
The Glory will be directed by Ahn Gil Ho, who’s behind the success of Happiness, Record of Youth, Watcher, Memories of the Alhambra and Stranger.
It will be penned by Kim Eun Sook and this will be his first attempt at doing a revenge drama after doing The King: Eternal Monarch, Mr. Sunshine, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Inheritors and Secret Garden.
The Glory is set to be out on Netflix, though its official release date is yet to be revealed.
