Marvel To Reportedly Introduce The Black Knight In Avengers: Endgame

Marvel Studios might be keeping a tight lid on the secrets of 2019's most highly-anticipated superhero movie, Avengers: Endgame, but rumors continue to feed the deprived Marvel fanbase as everyone continues to wait for the premiere of the Avengers: Infinity War sequel.

The latest rumor that's made its way to the mill is the word that Dane Whitman, the Black Knight, would somehow make it to the big screen in the second installment of Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie thanks to the Quantum Realm. While it seems rather unlikely for new characters to appear in a culminating movie, MCU Cosmic founder Jeremy Conrad says that Marvel has plans for the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There's been some hinting and talk about Black Knight recently. Apparently, Marvel does have a plan for him in the MCU, and they already know how he'll be introduced," Conrad wrote in his tweet.

While it might seem a bit too much for the Russos to introduce new characters into the MCU while closing out Phase 3 of the franchise, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did tell news outlets last week that the studio was planning to bring more characters to the big screen.

The Black Knight could be one of them. After all, the hero burdened with a cursed magical sword heirloom certainly seems like a good fit for Phase 4 of the MCU. Maybe he could even be part of Marvel's Cosmic Universe. The Black Knight would fit in perfectly there.
