One of the highlights from the San Diego Comic-Con was Marvel Studios' Hall H panel, and until now the internet is being flooded by all the huge reveals for the MCU. What's interesting is, Marvel isn't done yet, and they're actually saving a lot more things for next month's D23 Expo.
This comes from The GWW's Caleb Williams:
Multiple other insiders online have also confirmed that Marvel Studios is indeed holding up some reveals for D23, and I think it makes a lot of sense, seeing that Disney basically holds all the cards for Marvel right now. If they're planning to make their big Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker reveal there, it's kind of expected they also want to give us a teaser for upcoming Marvel projects.
With the SDCC 2019 panel focusing mainly on what's coming for Phase 4, some guess that this D23 panel will give us a teaser for Phase 5 and up. Kevin Feige did mention that there "wasn't any time" to talk about Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so maybe they can finally have time with next month's panel; plus he also teased development for Fantastic Four and the arrival of "mutants."
For now, all we can really do as fans is guess. Personally, I think they're going to put all the main focus on Star Wars, but maybe there'll also be a better look at the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series. What are the odds Disney will drop the first teaser for Black Widow?
The D23 Expo will be held Aug. 23–25.
