Marvel Reportedly Considering Hulk Vs. Wolverine Movie

It might seem a little bit strange knowing that Marvel's still going to take its time to introduce the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but word on the street says that Marvel Studios is planning to develop a versus movie between the Hulk and Wolverine.

According to a rumor which began with a post made by CBR reviewer Mikey Sutton (via Cosmic Book News), Marvel is thinking of producing a Hulk vs. Wolverine movie based on the current iteration of the popular Immortal Hulk comic book series. Though the report doesn't really specify which phase this film might be in, it does say that Marvel fans may expect the Wolverine vs. Hulk movie three or four years from now.

Of course, as with any rumor, we advise fans to take this new report with a grain of salt. Seeing Marvel's plans for Phase 4 of the MCU, we know that it's going to take quite a while before the studio introduces Fox's mutant heroes into the franchise. It's highly unlikely that the studio would develop a Hulk vs. Wolverine film in 3-4 years knowing that Marvel has yet to bring the X-Men into the MCU.

Still, if the rumor were true than we'd get a Hulk much different from the Professor Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) that we got to see in Avengers: Endgame. We'd also get to see another actor play Wolverine, a character which we've come to associate with Hugh Jackman. There's no knowing who Marvel may cast as the new Logan, but favorites so far are Zack Effron and Taron Egerton.

Avengers: Endgame is available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
