Marvel Releasing Brand New Nick Fury Series Next Week

It looks like Marvel has a surprise treat for fans on Disney+ because a brand new Marvel series is making its way to the House of Mouse's streaming platform a week from now.

Marvel just announced the premiere of a brand new animated Marvel series featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and it looks like Marvel fans won't have to wait that long for the show. Fury Files is set to make its Disney+ debut in the US and in the UK next week on Friday, May 15. It looks like Marvel fans have another series to binge while keeping themselves at home as a measure against the novel coronavirus pandemic.

According to Marvel's announcement post, Fury Files is going to offer fans top-secret access to the intel that S.H.I.E.L.D. has on some of the Marvel Universe's key heroes and villains. Each story is going to be told by S.H.I.E.L.D. director himself, Nick Fury.

Sure, Fury Files might not be connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe like the upcoming series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but we're sure that fans are going to appreciate how Marvel's offering everyone another series to pass the time.

That's not all of course. Marvel is also premiering the second season of Marvel's Future Avengers later this month. For those who've yet to explore the show, Future Avengers follows the story of Makoto, a young boy who gains superpowers during a Hydra genetic engineering experiment. The series offers the adventures of Makoto and his friends Adi and Chloe as they train together as apprentices of the Earth's Mightiest heroes.

Marvel's Future Avengers season 2 is set for release on May 22, 2020.
