Marvel Fans Debating Whether Loki or Killmonger Would Win in a Battle

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic has given Marvel fans a little bit more extra time on their hands, Marvel debates have become a regular occurrence on Twitter, and it looks like the latest battle is between Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

Fans have been debating who would win in a fight between Loki and Killmonger, Asgard's God of Mischief, or the villain that nearly knocked Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) off his throne. There's been a lot of discussion over the question. While most fans know that Killmonger might be a little bit outmatched by Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) cunning brother, Marvel fans point out many different ways Killmonger might be able to win in a fight against Loki.

Check out the original debate tweet down here:

Of course, as interesting as the idea of a fight between Loki and Killmonger sounds, we don't ever see the match coming to fruition in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sure, Killmonger might have been considered one of the best villains in the MCU because of the character's back story and realistic motivation, however, we do have to remind fans that Killmonger died at the end of Black Panther.

As much as we love the character, we wouldn't want Marvel to reduce the significance of his death by resurrecting Killmonger in an upcoming Marvel movie. Maybe the studio could explore an alternate timeline where Killmonger rules Wakanda in the upcoming Loki series, but a full-on resurrection doesn't sound possible.

Marvel's next release, Black Widow, is set to premiere on November 6, 2020.
