There's no denying that Netflix has produced another streaming hit with the Addams Family spinoff Wednesday and while everyone is gushing over the show's breakout star Jenna Ortega, her co-star Emma Myers, who plays Enid Sinclair is also turning a lot of heads since its premiere. Now, with the success of the project, we can safely say that Wednesday will spawn a few more seasons but fans are already excited to see Myers take on other acting opportunities elsewhere.

In fact, many are convinced that the 20-year-old rising actress would make the perfect live-action Gwen Stacy in either the Marvel Cinematic Universe or Sony's Spider-Man Universe. On Twitter, webheads have kickstarted a movement demanding Marvel or Sony to cast Myers as Spider-Gwen and I gotta say, she does look the part. Check out some of the tweets below:

As it stands, Marvel or Sony don't have plans to bring Stacy back to live-action but considering Tom Holland's Spider-Man is being brought back to his street roots, there's definitely a good chance that we'll see Gwen make her Earth-616 debut in the next few years.

Meanwhile, Ortega is reportedly being considered for a role in 2024's Daredevil: Born Again as the female version of the White Tiger character. Of course, nothing official has been set in stone but the idea that major film franchises are on the lookout for rising stars like Jenna and Emma doesn't seem too farfetched to believe.

All episodes of Wednesday are now available to stream exclusively on Netflix. In other Spider-Man news, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is hitting cinemas on June 2, 2023.
