You'd think that people would be much more open-minded these days, with movements like #metoo and Black Lives Matter opening the eyes of many who were ignorant or were not aware of these problems. However, that isn't the case as a young girl with Tourette Syndrome was kicked out of a movie theater showing Avengers: Endgame, along with her parents.

What's worse? The fact that this young woman just wanted to release some tics before the film started. On Facebook, the young girl stated that she did know how to control her sickness, even though it hurts her. The fact that she was willing to suppress this for three hours is really admirable and knowing that she wasn't given a chance to do so is just sad.

Knowing that the people in this theater didn't have her back was just sad. The fact that the people in charge actually kicked her out is just sad. Come on guys, she was willing to see this movie in pain, would it have killed anyone to stay through some tics during the previews?

Avengers: Endgame is now showing in theaters. Hopefully, this young woman gets the chance to see it again, this time with more sensitive people.
