Mark Hamill Pays Tribute to Warwick Davis
Hamill reunited with his Star Wars co-star Warwick Davis during the ceremony and gave tribute as he received the prestigious Fellowship Award.
The Luke Skywalker actor called him "one of the hardest working men in showbusiness" and joked that he has more credits in the Star Wars franchise than him.
Harry Potter star Tom Felton was also present in the ceremony to pay tribute to Davis as they worked together in the film series.
"Warwick was brilliant. He was enthralling to watch. Ever playful, ever precise in his performance, and always making it feel more like fun than work. He taught me some very important lessons over the decade we spent working together," he said in his tribute to Davis.
In his acceptance Speech, Davis called receiving the Fellowship Award "one of the best things that’s ever happened to me — and I’ve been in Star Wars, sorry Tom." He also thanked his children, who helped him "laugh and love again" after losing his wife last year.
