Mama June’s eldest daughter, Anna, was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January, per People. After a series of tests, the cancer was seen in her liver, kidney, and lung following her complaints of stomach pains.
Anna, who also appeared in Toddlers & Tiaras and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, had her first round of chemotherapy last month.
A source told TMZ, which broke the news, that Anna’s family remains “very hopeful” that she will pull through with the diagnosis.
Her doctors are reportedly waiting to see how Anna will react to the chemotherapy before they take the next step.
