The returning cast members from the original series include Bryan Cranston (Hal), Frankie Muniz (Malcolm), Jane Kaczmarek (Lois), Christopher Kennedy Masterson (Francis), Justin Berfield (Reese), and Emy Coligado (Piama).
However, Erik Per Sullivan will not be reprising the role of Dewey since he has already retired from acting. The character will be played instead by Wyonna Earp star Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.
