More Magic: The Gathering cards from the upcoming compilation set Double Masters are being revealed today, and in addition to the other reprinted cards and alternate-art versions unveiled today, Magic professional player Reid Duke has revealed the Double Masters alternate-art version of the Dark Confidant card.
This is a fitting card for Duke to officially preview since he's widely known as a master of the Jund archetype in Modern, a deck type that uses Dark Confidant. The cropping of the art looks weird here, so maybe it's part of a panorama.
Other cards recently revealed are Path to Exile, Doomed Necromancer, and Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. All these cards are vialble in Commander format.
You can check out where to find the rest of the Double Masters previews this week here.
Double Masters will be released on August 7, 2020; it will also be available on Magic Online for $6.99 per pack. The price for the VIP Edition was previously revealed to be $90 a pack.
