Magic Maker Light Novel Series Announces Anime Adaptation
The isekai fantasy light novel series Magic Maker ~Isekai Maho no Tsukurikata~ (or How to Perform Alternate World Magic in English) confirmed that it is getting a TV anime adaptation by Studio DEEN (of Sasaki and Miyano fame).
Also revealed were details about the anime’s cast and staff, along with a teaser visual and trailer highlighting the show’s magical fantasy setting and characters.
The anime’s announcement comes seven years after the original light novel by Kazuki Kaburagi began serialization in June 2017.
Now, Magic Maker is finally getting an anime adaptation led by popular voice actress Megumi Han (Kana Arima in Oshi no Ko) as Shion, and Ai Kakuma (Eris Boreas Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei) as Marie.
Leading the anime’s production at Studio DEEN is director Kazuomi Koga, who is known for his work in recent hits, such as Rent-A-Girlfriend and Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible.

The Magic Maker anime is slated to premiere sometime in 2025, though there are no other details about its specific release date.
