When the first episode of Love All Play came out, viewers were pretty iffy about it, especially since they couldn't help comparing it to Ryman's Club, another sports anime that came out just a few months before. The second episode, however, saw a good change of tide in viewership and now fans can't wait for the next episode. Here's all you need to know about Love All Play Episode 3!
Love All Play: What's It All About?
Ryou Mizushima isn't a great badminton player, but his passion for the sport is unmatched. Unfortunately, he'd had no chance of exploring his talent because his middle school's badminton club didn't have a proper coach. When he got scouted for a prestigious high school with a serious badminton club, Ryou defied odds and went for it.
Love All Play centers on Ryou's growth as a sportsman, as well as those of his fellow new recruits for Yokohama Minato High School's badminton club.
Episode 2 was a great pickup from the first, which was mostly made up of introductory scenes and flashbacks to ground the story. In Love All Play's second episode, we got to learn about Ryou's mimicry supertalent, and while the actual badminton scenes were still minimal, the few ones we had were fairly accurate. To most, the episode's higlight was Sakaki's wholesome "confession," which may have very well been a BL anime moment.
It's pretty exciting to see what is in store for Ryou and his new friends as the series goes!
