This led to a number of theories, including speculation about his potential death in Avengers: Doomsday.
Sure, the game is not connected to the movie, but fans and players alike can’t help but speculate, knowing how Marvel loves to surprise viewers.
It was then revealed that what happened to Loki had something to do with Gorr the God Butcher killing the God of Mischief himself, changing his status from missing to dead.
While this may only be applicable to the game, fans strongly suggest it may be connected to Loki’s fate in Doomsday, especially with his confirmed appearance in the movie.
