Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff admitted that getting married at her ex-husband's farm was not her first choice. However, the other venues on their list were no longer available. Nevertheless, she was thankful that Matt Roloff offered the Roloff Farms for her big day following their divorce. In her recent interview, she shared more details about her wedding venue.
Little People, Big World Star Amy Roloff Discussed Wedding Venue
Amy Roloff walked down the aisle for the second time on Aug. 28 when she exchanged "I do's" with Chris Marek. Amy and her ex-husband Matt Roloff didn't have an amicable relationship when they split. Matt didn't attend the wedding but offered the family farm to Amy and Chris.
According to the Little People, Big World star, the farm was not her first choice, but "it wasn't always an absolute 'no,' regardless." Amy admitted that the Roloff Farms was her plan B because they have other places in mind.

Unfortunately, when they picked their wedding date, the other venues on the list went by the wayside, and the Roloff Farms rose to the top.
"To Chris's credit, he really helped me see it from a different perspective," Amy told Entertainment Tonight, acknowledging her husband. "I mean, I've raised my kids there. I've been on that farm for many, many years, but it's also where we met. It's also where our relationship grew and became what it was. So to solidify it, and start our married life with our wedding there, and then going off into the sunset, makes sense."

However, some also criticized him because they felt he would ruin her big day due to the ongoing construction.

"You just couldn’t wait till AFTER the wedding. Like you said. You always get your way. Zach has figured it out. Your way or the highway," another added.
Matt and Chris are good pals. Matt didn't attend the wedding but wished the couple well.
Matt and Amy were married in 1987 and split in 2015. They share four children — fraternal twins Jeremy and Zachary, 31, daughter Molly, 27, and Jacob, 24.
