iam Neeson and Pamela Anderson are fueling dating rumors as they promote their upcoming romantic comedy The Naked Gun, a reboot of the 1988 classic in which they star as love interests Frank Drebin Jr. and Beth.
Given that both iconic stars are currently single — Anderson divorced Dan Hayhurst in 2022, and Neeson’s wife, Natasha Richardson, tragically passed away in 2009 — it’s not far that they may have developed feelings for each other.
As the two embark on a sexy and flirty press tour, many can’t help but wonder: is their on-screen chemistry just acting, or is something romantic already brewing behind the scenes?

There’s no denying that Neeson and Anderson share great on-screen chemistry, coupled with their affectionate interactions and teasing interviews that seem to hint at something more than just acting.
So, to set the record straight, TODAY’s Craig Melvin couldn’t help but ask about the real status of their relationship.
“What’s the deal here?” he asked on the show. “You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”
Somewhat surprised, Neeson playfully screamed Craig’s name, while Anderson appeared confused by the question.
“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors,” the award-winning actor clarified.
“Yeah,” Anderson agreed.
“It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe,'” Neeson continued. “And that’s what we did.”
But while the 73-year-old star seemed to play it safe with his answers, he recently told People that he’s “madly in love” with the legendary Baywatch actress.
He also described her performance in The Last Showgirl as “real, funny, and incredibly sexy,” and told The Sun that his favorite part of filming The Naked Gun was the sex scenes.
“She’s just terrific to work with,” he admitted.
For her part, Anderson told Entertainment Weekly that their connection is “very sincere” and “very loving.”
And when asked if she’d like to work with Neeson again, she replied, “I’ll follow him anywhere.”
Is the Flirty Chemistry Between Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson Just for Show or the Real Thing?
More than just reviving the classic slapstick comedy The Naked Gun, Neeson and Anderson are drawing even more attention for their off-screen chemistry on the red carpet during the film’s promotional campaign.
To determine whether their flirty interactions are just for show or hint at something real, body language expert Judi James told MailOnline that many of the poses they struck while promoting the film were likely responses to photographers’ requests.
The two often gazed into each other’s eyes during photo ops, and Anderson leaning on Neeson became one of her signature moves.
“In one pose, Liam’s warm gaze produces a wide smile from Pamela that looks almost like an expression of teenage excitement—but that isn’t her usual demeanor,” James explained. “When they sit down for interviews about the movie, Pamela often appears much more serious and thoughtful.”
So, while they display “genuine warmth toward one another,” James concluded that “any flirtatious posturing is likely contrived for the benefit of onlookers.”
But if Neeson and Anderson ever end up together, they’d surely make an adorable Hollywood couple.
