LeBron James got a fiery response from Squid Game creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk after expressing his dissatisfaction with the series' ending.
LeBron James Didn't Like Squid Game's Ending
NBA players LeBron James and Anthony Davis were among those who watched the South Korean survival series that dominated Netflix for weeks. The duo talked about the series ending in earshot of all the cameras at their postgame media availability after their game against the Golden Warriors.
In their conversation, LeBron said he had already finished the K-drama series but disapproved of its ending.
"Yeah, I did finish it. Did you finish it?" he asked Davis. "You watched it? You done? Yeah, I didn’t like the ending though. No, I know they started off with a season two but like, get on the f--king flight, go see your daughter, bro. Like, what are you doing?"
Squid Game ended with Gi-hun (Lee Jung Jae) was about to board the game to fly to the United States and visit his daughter. However, he saw the salesman (Gong Yoo), who lured him into joining the game. In a bid to save the man and track down the people behind the deadly game competition, Gi-hun decided to cancel his flight.
