There have been rumors for a while that there is a feud between Remini and Lopez, as they were no longer spotted hanging out together publicly. Remini also did not show up at Lopez's wedding to Ben Affleck.
Is There a Feud Between Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez?
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Remini addressed the current status of her friendship with Lopez.
She revealed that she and Lopez have been texting each other since their respective divorces, debunking the rumors that they are feuding.
"Right after the divorce, we’d text each other loving messages of support," the actress shared.
"Sometimes you don’t talk to people every day like you used to, but that doesn’t mean the love is lost. Friendships ebb and flow. That doesn’t mean we’re at odds."
Remini explained that she is in a "different place" now, 12 years after leaving the Church of Scientology.
"I really retreated [after leaving]. But also not really wanting to leave the house that much. I started to come out a bit but was still careful and cautious," she said.
"I cherish my friendships and not everybody is meant to be in your life in the way that they were. When you grow out of that person that you were, that doesn’t mean that you are at odds with them. I have many friends that I don’t talk to every day. That doesn’t mean we’re at odds — it’s just that I’m at a different place and so are they."

Remini and Lopez reportedly became friends around 2004 after meeting at an event. Since then, they've consistently hung out throughout the years and even starred together in a movie.
When Remini did not attend Lopez and Affleck's wedding, there were speculations that the two had a falling out.
However, according to reports, Remini was not in attendance as she was moving her daughter into college.
With the recent remarks, any speculations on Remini and Lopez's rumored feud have been shot down, since the two are still friends despite the challenges in their respective lives.
