Just a week before the global release of the much-awaited John Wick: Chapter 4 film, one of the beloved characters has died. Actor Lance Reddick was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday. The 60-year-old actor plays hotel manager, Charon, in the film franchise.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a 911 call requesting for medical assistance at 8:45 am. When they got to the property, they declared the actor dead.
What Was Lance Reddick Cause of Death?

As reported by TMZ, Reddick's body was found dead at his home around 9:30 am. The Los Angeles Fire Department received a request for medical assistance around 8:45 am. They gave CPR instructions to the person on the other end of the call, but when paramedics arrived at the property, Reddick had already died.
Reddick's publicist, Mia Hansen, says the actor died from natural causes. But at this point, the cause of his death remains unclear. Hansen says:

Who Was Lance Reddick?

Lance Reddick started his acting career in the '90s by starring in roles in shows like The West Wing and New York Undercover. But initially, the actor grew up in Baltimore and dreamed of becoming a musician. But because of his need to support his family, he got into acting. Still, he planned to use that fame as a way to pave his music career.
At the age of 29, Reddick landed earning roles in regional theater. After that, he pursued drama at Yale University, where he also graduated.
When he moved to New York, Reddick landed his first regular role on an HBO show called Oz. He played the role of an undercover detective who was posing as an inmate. He then got his big break when David Simon cast him as Narcotics Unit Lt. Daniels on Wire. He then moved on to other shows like Lost, Fringe, Bosch, and Netflix's Resident Evil.
As for his movies, he is most popular for his loyal hotel manager role on the John Wick franchise. But he has also starred in One Night in Miami, Angel Has Fallen, Godzilla vs. Kong, and in an upcoming White Men Can't Jump remake.
Reddick is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Yvonne Nicole and Christopher.
