Krysten Ritter is setting the record straight on her Instagram post that led to her rumored return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again.
For the past few months, fans have been speculating that Ritter might be reprising her iconic role in the upcoming MCU series thanks to her Instagram post where she is wearing an outfit similar to Jessica Jones.
So far, there has been no confirmation that Ritter will be playing Jessica Jones again in the MCU anytime soon, but fans are hoping that her social media post was a hint for her comeback in the role.

In a recent interview, Ritter addressed her Instagram post that led to her rumored return as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again.
She clarified that she wasn't suggesting that she would be playing Jessica Jones again in the MCU series, but it was fun for her to see the fan reactions that spawned from her post.
"No, I didn’t. I have the shirt. It’s a great t-shirt. It's one of my favorites and I was wearing it. I was like, 'Oh, cute! Is anyone gonna recognize my shirt?' But yeah, I did notice that it made some waves. That was fun," the Jessica Jones star explained.
"And that means a lot to me, as well. The character means so much to me, as well. It’s funny that one little thoughtless Instagram story of my cute t-shirt that I love [got that reaction]."
While the Instagram post was not a confirmation of Ritter's return as Jessica Jones, the discussions around it showed that a lot of fans would love to see her reprise the role again in the MCU soon.
Considering that the Netflix Defenders shows are now being integrated into the MCU, it's not impossible at this point to see them bring back Ritter and have her reunite with Charle Cox for another adventure in the streets of New York.
For now, let's wait and see whether we will hear some news soon regarding Ritter's potential return, but we're seeing signs now that it will get favorable responses from fans if it does happen.
