Kristen Stewart finally tied the knot with her fiancée and partner of six years, Dylan Meyer, in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home Sunday, April 20.
In the photos obtained by TMZ, the couple was all smiles as they exchanged “I Dos” and even shared a sweet hug in front of the many.
As many have followed Stewart’s career from her breakout role in Twilight to her latest film Sacramento, it is a puzzle for some who her longtime partner Meyer is.

Background and Early Life
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, many may not know, but Meyer is the daughter of award-winning screenwriter and director Nicholas Meyer, best known for his work on the Star Trek franchise.
As they say, the apple does not fall far from the tree, so Meyer became a screenwriter and film producer herself.
She started working on short films like The Death and Return of Superman (2011) and Wrestling Isn’t Wrestling (2015).
But with her great flair, she has managed to establish herself as a versatile talent in Hollywood, with credits spanning writing, acting, and producing.
Career Breakthrough and Highlights
Meyer’s breakthrough came when she co-wrote, directed, and produced the 2016 Netflix film XOXO. She also wrote several episodes of the sci-fi series Miss 2059 and the 2015 short film Loose Ends.
In addition, her short film Rock Bottom won Best Short at the Chattanooga Film Festival in 2019, while she co-wrote the screenplay of the critically acclaimed coming-of-age movie Moxie (2021), directed by Amy Poehler.
Meyer is also the founder of Nevermind Pictures, a production company she co-owns with Maggie McLean and wife Stewart.

Meyer and Stewart first met on a movie set in 2013, but their romance didn’t begin until 2019, after they reconnected at a mutual friend’s birthday party.
In the same year, relationship rumors started swirling after they were photographed kissing on a street curb in New York City.
Later, Meyer made their romance Instagram official by sharing a black-and-white photo of their kiss.
“Find me under the covers hiding from the happiness police,” she captioned her post.
After two years, Stewart revealed in an interview with Howard Stern that she and Meyer were engaged and the latter was the one who proposed.
“It's not a given that I would be the one, you know what I mean? Like, with two girls, you never know, like, who's going to fulfill what weird f---ing gender role thing and we don't do that or think about it in those terms,” she explained.
“So I was like, 'Wait, well, I'm not the one for sure.' And so I was kind of joking for a bit, like, 'No, I want to be the one to propose, like, I want to be proposed to' and then she just grabbed that bowl and made it happen. It was f---ing so cute.”
Come 2025, news broke that Stewart and Meyer married privately, with a low-key ceremony attended by close friends and family, including Ashley Benson and Brandon Davis.
