Kraven the Hunter is one of the upcoming films on Sony Pictures' slate this year. And if that's not enough to get you excited, the fact that Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the lead role just might be.
Another interesting fact about the movie is that it is "shot entirely on location." This was revealed by Taylor-Johnson at the CineEurope conference.
With this revelation, Kraven the Hunter sets itself apart from the other Marvel films, which were a mix of real-world and studio shoots.
This makes us wonder where was Kraven the Hunter filmed. Here are the filming locations of the upcoming movie:
Iceland
One of the filming locations that the filmmakers chose for Kraven the Hunter was Iceland. More specifically, they filmed at Lake Myvatn, which is most popular for its lava fields and craters.
The beautiful location served as a fitting backdrop for the film's early sequences.
Glasgow
The team also filmed in Glasgow, Scotland. They shot some scenes in the Necropolis cemetery, which gave a chilling ambiance to the film.
London
Bringing a busy city and urban landscape feel to the movie was a breeze, thanks to the filmmakers' decision to shoot in London, England.
The production team was able to recreate the remarkable characteristics of New York City, without actually having to film there.
USA
Although they didn't film in the Big Apple, they brought down production to the US too. To be more specific, they filmed in various locations throughout Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Kraven the Hunter is coming to theaters on October 6, 2023.
