It appears he is trying to disguise himself following the events of Season 2, Episode 6, which showed Matt defeating Wilson Fisk.
However, the victory is short-lived, as Fisk remains free, and the battle against the iconic Marvel villain is far from over.
Vincent D’Onofrio once said that Vanessa’s death would take its toll on his character. By the looks of it, the upcoming season may explore how her loss affects him and whether it will push him further into darkness or serve as a major turning point in his life.

What to Expect from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3?
A major Defenders reunion is expected to take place in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, following Jessica Jones’ return in the Marvel universe in Season 2, Episode 6.
Jones reappears after Mr. Charles’ men attack her at her home, where her daughter, Danielle, is introduced.
In Marvel Comics, Danielle is known as the child of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. This hints at Luke’s possible involvement in the next events, and set photos from the third season show Mike Colter reprising his role, alongside Krysten Ritter and Finn Jones as Danny Rand / Iron Fist.
By the looks of it, Season 2, Episode 6 just laid the groundwork for the long-awaited Defenders reunion, nearly nine years after the end of the Netflix series.
In fact, Colter himself has teased his return in the Disney+ series.
“I’ve had discussions with Marvel, and I do think that it’s very, very likely that I will come back at some point, but I don’t know when. But I think I will,” he said on the Inside of You podcast.
He also teased what fans could expect in the show’s third season.
“It feels like we’ve shed the skin of the Mayor Fisk era. It feels like it’s a new book, a new dawn a little bit,” he revealed. “It’s still a continuation, obviously, but it’s slightly different. I can’t give anything away, but it’s a new thing, which is fun.”
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 still has two episodes left, Episodes 7 and 8, before the finale, releasing on April 28 and May 5, respectively, on Disney+.
