King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla have been through a lot. Despite all the criticisms that they received for many years, the royal couple still stayed fiercely loyal to one another. Now, they have become the face of the British monarchy, having been given their new royal titles.
King Charles Is Incredibly Protective Of His Wife Queen Consort Camilla?
According to a source for The Daily Beast, King Charles is also incredibly protective of Queen Consort Camilla. This means that he would not allow anyone – including his own children – to step on his wife.
So, King Charles would be forced to choose between Queen Consort Camilla and Prince Harry if the latter decides to criticize his stepmom in his upcoming memoir. And the unnamed source claimed that King Charles would most likely choose his wife over his son.
“It is one thing for Harry to attack Charles, he can take it on the chin, but if Harry forces him to choose, by laying into Camilla in his book, I have no doubt he will choose Camilla,” the source said.

King Charles Has Not Invited Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To His Coronation?
According to reports, King Charles has not also invited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his upcoming coronation. The couple is still on a tentative list for the 2023 ceremony. As of writing, King Charles’ decision is still very much 50/50 because he can suddenly decide to invite the couple or snub them for good.
It is also important to note that King Charles’ coronation is scheduled for May 6. The date is important to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because this is their son Archie’s birthday. So, even if King Charles decides to invite them to his coronation, Prince Harry and Markle could politely decline because they will be with their son.
King Charles’ Coronation Date Not A Dig At Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Even though King Charles’ coronation was set on the same day as Archie’s birthday, royal author Tom Bower insisted that this was also just a coincidence. Some royal fans accused the monarch of taking a dig at the Sussexes with the date of his coronation. But Bower said that this isn’t the case.
“Archie’s birthday was the last thing they thought about. The date was chosen because it was just before the state opening of Parliament and Charles will want to appear as King with his crown and the whole ceremonial [robes]. They looked at what was happening in Britain. They didn’t look at what was happening in Montecito [where the Sussex family currently resides]. The idea that anyone was concerned with that is nonsense,” Bower told Page Six.
