The release date of Kimi ni Todoke season 3 has been confirmed, and it is set to debut on August 1, 2024, as part of the summer anime lineup.
Along with the announcement, a new promotional trailer has been unveiled, which also reveals the romance anime's opening theme song, Et cetera, performed by none other than imase.
Kimi ni Todoke season 3 was first announced in September 2023, more than a decade after the second season was released.
It was then confirmed that the third season would arrive sometime in August 2024 in an announcement that came with the release of a key visual showing Sawako and friends walking together on the beach.
The emotional visual teases the subtleties and complexities of each couple's relationship, hinting at the new developments fans can expect in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Production I.G has once again been enlisted to animate the third season of Kimi ni Todoke.
Fans should be familiar with the studio, as it has also produced the first two seasons that came out in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
