Marvel Studios might have been pretty careful not to let Avengers: Endgame spoilers make their way online, but fans are already expecting major deaths in Joe and Anthony Russo's upcoming Avengers movie. It won't be easy trying to undo Thanos' Decimation, and many expect heroes like Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to sacrifice their lives to bring back those who were turned into dust in Avengers: Infinity War.
Now, a new report says that someone who'd actually worked on the production of Endgame confirms the death of a main character in the film.
According to Spanish language blog Unocero (via BGR), voice actor Sergio Zurita (the man behind the Spanish version of Bradley Cooper's Rocket Racoon) just recently spoke in a radio interview with MVS Noticias about his work in the Infinity War sequel. During the interview, Zurita let slip that at least one main character in the Endgame dies – a confirmation for a spoiler that fans have already come to expect from the film.
"I can tell you that the movie takes you from laughter to tears. A key character dies," the actor let out during his interview, "I can not say more… it's too much. I do not know if I already said too much."
The only question now is who exactly is this key character? Is it one of the original six Avengers? Is it Captain America (Chris Evans)? Is it Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr)? Or maybe it's Nebula (Karen Gillan).
Right now, speculation has it that one of the original six Avengers may very well sacrifice their lives in the film. Still, we can't really tell until the film premieres.
Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas April 26, 2019.
