The new season of the hit HBO series surprised viewers in its premiere last week as they revealed that they are bringing back Greg (Jon Gries) for another stay at the hotel. In their recent episode, they introduced another surprise with the voice cameo of an Oscar winner.
Ke Huy Quan Joins The White Lotus Season 3 in Surprise Voice Cameo Role
Quan made a voice cameo in the recent episode of The White Lotus season 3 as Timothy Ratliff's former business partner Kenny Nguyen.
The Oscar winner's voice was heard during Timothy's phone call conversation with Kenny as he tried to find out why The Wall Street Journal had been contacting him.
It was revealed that Timothy and Kenny were working on a shady deal in the past and the media is now discovering it. Kenny also shared that he's being investigated by the FBI as a whistleblower rattled him out.
Timothy is potentially being implicated as the authorities discovered documents of his money laundering and bribery transactions with Kenny in the past. He tried to contact his lawyer for advice, but he's not answering due to the time zone difference.
It is unknown whether Quan will physically appear on-screen later in the season.
This marks the second time that an Oscar winner makes a voice cameo in the series. During the second season, Laura Dern notably voiced Dominic Di Grasso's estranged wife Abby.
