Kate Middleton Paid Tribute To Prince William During Visit To Wales, Dispelling Split Rumors
Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Cardiff Castle in Wales as part of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. They were joined by their children, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7.
One royal fan waiting for them outside the castle shook Kate Middleton's hand and told her, "You're going to be a brilliant Princess of Wales," as shared in a video shared on Twitter by user @Hellen3030.
The future queen consort was visibly touched. She smiled and responded, telling the royal fan, "Oh, that's very kind."
Middleton gestured toward her husband, adding, "I'm in good hands."
The same netizen spoke with People and detailed how their encounter with the Cambridges went. According to the Twitter user who caught the sweet moment, Prince William and Middleton's family is "is humble" and "lovely."
"I flew last minute from Miami to attend the Platinum Jubilee and decided to go to Cardiff the day before. I met wonderful people from all over the world wanting to meet them," the royal fan said. "We had no idea they were bringing Prince George and Princess Charlotte until later on. Once we met the Cambridges, we were all mesmerized by them. I missed my train back to London and arrived late to the Platinum Party at the Palace, but it was all worth it!"
Kate Middleton And Prince William Split Rumors Fake
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were plagued with breakup rumors a month ago. The speculations started from a French website called Oh My Mag claiming that the marriage was over.
Middleton was allegedly moving out from Kensington Palace with their children. The story was picked up by MSN and even tweeted about. The reports about the Cambridges moving to Windsor only fueled the split rumors. Some speculated the couple was getting an additional home because they would be living separately.
However, a spokesperson for Groupe Cerise, who owns Oh My Mag, told Newsweek that the story about Prince William and Middleton separating was not true. They even took down the report.
"This story is indeed false and has been published by accident. We are taking it down momentarily," the spokesperson said.
MSN did the same by removing the report and the tweet.
Prince William and Middleton are apparently still very much together. And the duchess' move saying she's "in good hands" with her husband only shows the status of their marriage.
