Kate Middleton gives out a "first lady" vibes more than a "royal wife" impression during her and Prince William's Caribbean tour. Her choice of outfit when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was telling, when they left Belize to continue their royal tour to Jamaica.
Kate Middleton Looks Like A First Lady Than A Royal Wife
Prince William and Kate Middleton had a great time in Belize. However, the Duchess of Cambridge did not just impress the locals during their arrival and stay, she also left a mark when they departed to head to Jamaica.
Body language expert Judi James pointed out how confident Prince Wiliam's wife is. And she sure knows how to dress to make a statement because she was every inch the confident "future Queen" when they left Belize on Tuesday.
"As William and Kate wave goodbye to Belize and board the plane to Jamaica, it is important to see how much Kate has now unfurled and launched as possibly the most powerful and confident royal in the top line-up of the Firm," Judi told Express.co.uk. "Kate’s strong, statement red jacket and white trousers seemed to underline or illustrate this signal of dominance."
Middleton ditched her signature blow-dry hairstyle, rocking a sleek ponytail. Her "tailored styling," according to James, makes her "looks more like a First Lady or world leader than a royal wife."
"Her wave is confident, with the palm turned outward and almost flat and her smile and posture suggest she is more than prepared for her role as future Queen," she added.
Middleton wore a red blazer believed to be a vintage piece by Yves Saint Laurent. She kept the theme classic by pairing it with crisp white flared trousers, a white handbag, and white stilettos.
Kate Middleton Ready To Role As Future Queen
The Duchess of Cambridge was criticized in the past years because, unlike her sister-in-law Meghan Markle, who "hit the ground running" when she joined the firm, it took longer for her to be as confident as she is today. However, Middleton has also impressed the public with her transformation over the years, especially with her "growing confidence."
In September 2019, royal correspondent Emily Andrews praised Prince William's wife when she delivered a speech during her visit to "Back To Nature" festival in Woking, Surrey.

"I was really struck by how much more confident Kate is at public speaking. Today’s engagement was very her, and she was in her relaxed element, but I remember when her elocution lessons left her with strangled vowels & v nervous delivery. Lovely job today," Andrews wrote on Twitter.
A well-placed source told People that she is cementing her role as the future queen and "is finding her voice." Even those close to the Middleton's notice her grown confidence.
"She is now more open with what she wants to say, and funnily enough, she is more relaxed as well," a family friend said.
