Akatsuki Games (Tribe Nine, Atelier Resleriana) is in charge of the development and management of the upcoming game, which will be co-produced by Production I.G and Toho.
In addition to the announcement, the official YouTube channel of Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME released a debut trailer depicting the titular character Kaiju No. 8 and Third Defense Force unit members such as vice-captain Soshiro Hoshina, Reno Ichikawa, and Kikoru Shinomiya in a city devastated by a monster attack.
