Here's What Happened Before Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 223
Chapter 222 of Jujutsu Kaisen starts with Uraume revealing that he couldn't find all of Sukuna's missing fingers.
Uraume braces himself for punishment, but Sukuna isn't too worried.
As he tells Uraume, he believes that Satoru Gojo actually possesses the missing finger.
Sukuna has come to this conclusion because Gojo only managed to delay Yuji Itadori's execution by proposing that Yuji swallows the remaining fingers once they become available.
Knowing this, Sukuna theorizes that Gojo hid one finger as this would allow him to postpone Yuji's execution indefinitely.
Elsewhere, Gojo and every other survivor from the old squad are bracing themselves for what might be the series' final battle.
While everyone is busy fighting Sukuna, Kenjaku is planning to hunt the remaining Culling Game players.
Everyone wishes Gojo good luck in his battle with Sukuna, in what feels like the endgame for Jujutsu Kaisen.
